GRANOLLERS, Spain — Williams driver Valtteri Bottas has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Ferrari, although he remains uncertain where he will be driving next season.

The 25-year-old Finn is regarded as one of the most consistent drivers in Formula One. He finished fourth last year, with four podium finishes and is sixth after four races this season.

His Williams contract ends this year and speculation surrounding Ferrari’s lineup next year has led to rumours that Bottas signed a pre-contract agreement with Ferrari — which has yet to confirm whether Kimi Raikkonen will stay in 2016.

Speaking Thursday ahead of the Spanish GP, Bottas said "it’s sometimes quite funny to hear those (stories) because in the end you know what is the case and what’s not."
