Dixon goes Jurassic World at Honda Indy Toronto

Driver Scott Dixon will be behind the wheel of a prehistoric car at the Honda Indy Toronto, with Jurassic World plastered all over his vehicle.

IndyCar driver Scott Dixon is returning to the home of the Toronto Raptors with a fitting paint job.

The car of the three-time IndyCar Series champion will sport a Jurassic World paint scheme when the best drivers in the world vibrate the city’s streets during the Honda Indy Toronto this weekend.

Dixon is no stranger to Toronto, having swept the doubleheader race in 2013. But this year’s event will only feature a single race after the date was pushed back due to the Pan Am Games.

Dixon claimed first place at the Firestone 600 in Texas last weekend and comes into Toronto sitting third in the overall IndyCar standings.

The 34-year-old from Auckland, New Zealand, is eight points behind Will Power and 43 points behind overall leader Juan Pablo Montoya.

The Honda Indy Toronto begins with qualifying on Saturday with the full race on Sunday.
