MADISON, Ill. — IndyCar will race at Gateway Motorsports Park next year.

Series and track officials said Thursday that they have reached a multi-year agreement to produce annual IndyCar-sanctioned events at the 1.25-mile oval in the St. Louis area.

The race next year is set for Aug. 26.

The track also has a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, and the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series runs at the facility.
