Webber looks to stay in Formula One
Mark Webber has won seven races since joining Red Bull Racing in 2007.
Formula One driver Mark Webber said on Thursday that he hopes to stay in Formula One beyond 2012.
The 35-year-old Australian signed a one-year contract extension with Red Bull Racing over the summer.
But Red Bull also has rookies Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne on their Toro Rosso team, both of whom could potentially take Webber’s place on the main club.
"I can't do anything about the rumours, I remember I was going to be replaced way back in 2008," Webber told Austrian Servus TV. "That's just Formula One."
Webber joined Red Bull in 2007 and has earned seven wins, finishing third in the driver's standings the previous two seasons.
