I'm sure most of you have heard or read that I will be heading to triple-A Las Vegas to start the year instead of with the Blue Jays in Toronto.

Even though I am disappointed, I can’t be disappointed for long.  I know what needs to be done to get people out in the big leagues and I will continue to improve on that and work on some of the small things that need fine tuning.

As I try to look on the bright side of things, I’ll take this as a humbling experience and try to make the best of it. I’ll continue to work hard and keep focused on the task at hand, which is getting back to Toronto and helping the Blue Jays win as many games possible.

The last few weeks have been going well and every time I’ve been out on the mound it has been an improvement on the previous performance. My pitches have been getting better and better and the location of those pitches, with the exception of a few, have been what I’m looking for.

I am aware that baseball is a business and things have a way of working out.  I hope that I am back in Toronto soon and pitching for the Jays.
