The New York Mets are reportedly bringing back slugger Yoenis Cespedes and one of the team’s most famous fans loves it.
Shortly after the reported deal broke, Jerry Seinfeld took to Twitter to express his pleasure over the deal and, more importantly, compared the deal to one of his show’s most famous moments: Festivus.
Seinfeld has reason to celebrate as Cespedes played great when he came over to the Mets a in mid-season trade from the Detroit Tigers, hitting .287/.337/.604 with 17 home runs and 44 RBI in 57 games played.
Rejoice! It’s a Cespedes for the rest of us!
