Major League Baseball released the schedule for the 2015 post-season on Monday afternoon.
The playoffs will open with the American League Wild Card Game, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6, while the National League Wild Card Game takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
The AL wild card winner will have one day off before both AL Divisional Series kick off on Thursday, Oct. 8.

The American League champions will host the World Series, scheduled to begin on Oct. 27. If necessary, Game 7 of the series will take place on Nov. 4.
