Bisons manager compares Gose to Sizemore

Anthony Gose put on a dazzling display in his debut with the Buffalo Bisons.

Anthony Gose is quickly making a strong impression with the Buffalo Bisons.

The Blue Jays top outfield prospect went 3-for-4 in his debut in Buffalo — including a number of highlight-reel plays in their 12-7 win over Rochester Thursday.

Bisons manager Marty Brown has been blown away with Gose’s talent and compared him to former Cleveland Indians and Bisons outfielder Grady Sizemore, who was one of the most exciting players in the majors before his career was derailed by injuries.

Barring injuries, Gose is expected to play this season in triple-A before the Blue Jays bring him back up to the majors.

Gose made his Blue Jays debut last season when he batted .223 with one home run, 11 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 56 games.

He was originally acquired in a trade with the Houston Astros in exchange for first baseman Brett Wallace.
