Toronto Blue Jays slugger Edwin Encarnacion and manager John Gibbons have been ejected from Friday’s game against the Cleveland Indians after arguing balls and strikes.
The ejections took place in the bottom of the first inning after Encarnacion struck out on a questionable called third strike. Devon Travis took over designated hitter duties.
It was the sixth time Gibbons has been tossed this season, which leads all of MLB.
