The Toronto Blue Jays have extended a one-year qualifying offer valued at $15.3 million to left-fielder Melky Cabrera, the team announced Saturday.
Cabrera has until Nov. 10 to accept or decline. Should he decline the offer, the Blue Jays will be entitled to draft-pick compensation in 2015.
The outfielder batted .301 with 16 home runs and 73 RBI in 139 games this season.
