The Toronto Blue Jays plan to be aggressive to upgrade their pitching staff on the free agent market.
Toronto has already shown interest in free agent starters Zack Greinke, Kyle Lohse, Anibal Sanchez, Ryan Dempster, and Scott Baker, according to a report from Jon Morosi of FoxSports.com
The Blue Jays are looking to add veteran starters to compliment Ricky Romero and Brandon Morrow in the rotation.
The team suffered a significant amount of injuries last season as Kyle Drabek and Drew Hutchison underwent Tommy John surgery. The Blue Jays starters finished the sixth-worst ERA in the major leagues.
Free agents are eligible to sign with new teams by Saturday at 12:01 a.m. ET.
