Dustin McGowan has not been eliminated from the Toronto Blue Jays’ plans.
Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said the 30-year-old pitcher is still “in the picture” to break camp with the club at the end of spring training.

Gibbons stated that the pain in McGowan’s neck and shoulder are gone and although he hasn’t been eliminated from the club’s plans, Gibbons acknowledged that McGowan’s progress “has to speed up” but that “he’s got time” to get going.
McGowan will throw off the mound on Monday.
