Blue Jays’ Sanchez heading back to 10-day DL with finger laceration

Welington Castillo’s second two-run jack of the game came in the 10th inning after a long rain delay, giving the Orioles a 5-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Aaron Sanchez has been placed on the 10-day disabled list, the team announced as part of a flurry of moves made Saturday.

Sanchez was sent to the DL with a right middle finger laceration.

This is the third time this season the 24-year-old has been on the disabled list.

In a corresponding move, the Blue Jays recalled right-handed pitcher Cesar Valdez from triple-A Buffalo.
