With this being David Ortiz’s final season in the MLB, it’s expected that he will be given lots of gifts as he travels around the league one final time. But one thing Ortiz isn’t getting this year is a chance to be on the latest MLB The Show cover, an honour that went to Josh Donaldson.

Ortiz was on the cover of the first MLB The Show game back in 2006. But it looks like he might be jealous of the Blue Jays MVP.

Donaldson wasted no time in retweeting the above gift and showing his appreciation with a reply.

Along with Donaldson on the cover, the game also includes a unique way of handling Blue Jays switch-pitching reliever Pat Venditte.

MLB The Show 16 is available in stores now.
