LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers have agreed to one-year contracts with first baseman-outfielder Scott Van Slyke and pitcher Chris Hatcher, avoiding arbitration.

Van Slyke’s deal is worth $1,325,000 and Hatcher’s contract is worth $1.25 million.

Van Slyke was limited to 52 games last season because of persistent low back irritation. He hit .225 with seven RBI and one home run and made $1,225,000.

Hatcher was 5-4 with a 5.53 ERA for the NL West champions. He made $1,065,000 last season.
