Jays’ Martin to grace Canadian MLB The Show cover

Sony Playstation has unveiled the cover for the 10th anniversary edition of MLB The Show featuring Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig.

For fans in Canada, the cover will feature new Toronto Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin.

Playstation has released Canadian versions of the cover in the past. Jose Bautista graced the cover in 2012 and ’13, while Brett Lawrie – now of the Oakland Athletics – was the cover boy in 2014.

The Blue Jays acquired Martin via free agency this off-season, signing him to a five-year, $82 million contract.
