Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Ricky Romero is at it again as he let out some frustration on Twitter Wednesday.
Romero responded to Jen Turner (@EliteGirlJen) who was taking a shot at his performance this season. The tweet, which has since been removed said: “Just got an email about votting (sic) for Ricky Romero to win The Roberto Clemente Award… Um did they not see how he performed this season?”
Hey @elitegirljen get ur facts straight before u write something so stupid. This award has nothing to do with performance. #IdontNeedUrVote

Turner then responded to Romero’s tweet, further criticizing his performance:
@rickyro24 kudos for giving to the community… I like most Jays fans wish we saw the same dedication on the field. #yoursupposedtobetheace

Turner then had her hands full, answering for her tweets at the Blue Jays pitcher:
@lukesilva10 I hope @rickyro24 wins the Cy Young next year… He would prove a lot of people wrong by doing so.

Truly amazed that @rickyro24 got that upset over my tweet… It’s an opinion and this is twitter. #lightenup #noonesaidyou‘reabadrolemodel

He hasn’t tweeted since October 5th and everyone’s up in arms… Relax…
— Jen Turner (@EliteGirlJen) October 10, 2012
It’s called accountability… If my tweet got @rickyro24 that upset then clearly he’s frustrated, just like the fans who pay to support him.

I understand what the award is about. I just don’t believe we should be trying to glorify a player who had such a terrible year
— Jen Turner (@EliteGirlJen) October 10, 2012
Romero didn’t have as much activity as Turner did on Twitter, following his initial tweet with the following:
I’ve dealt with criticism and people doubting me my whole life.Yes I had a bad year and yes I am human and I understand that through social

Media u can say whatever u want. Just know that u “tough” people on here DO NOT get to me or get me down EVER.To my fans much love. I’m out!

Back in May, Romero’s frustration boiled over on Twitter, where he called out the “haters,” and “keyboard warriors” during a rant on the popular social media website.
