The agent of Josh Johnson feels Alex Anthopoulos might flip some of the players the Toronto Blue Jays are set to acquire in the reported blockbuster deal with the Miami Marlins.
Johnson’s agent, Matt Sosnick, was a guest Wednesday on the Jeff Blair Show on Sportsnet 590 The Fan where he discussed his thoughts on the 12-man trade.
"I feel like there has to be another piece to this trade," Sosnick told Blair. "I’ve got to imagine that the players that Alex acquired have to be in play — it’s a lot of money he took on in salary in one shot."

The Blue Jays will add nearly $166 million in salary committments in the reported deal.
And with so many teams in need of starting pitching, Sosnick believes Anthopoulos may be willing to flip Johnson to another club if the price is right.
"There are so many teams that are interested in Josh Johnson that if the Yankees or Texas or some of these teams looking for a frontline starter wanted to give up a tonne, it would seem like it would be against the way that Alex normally does business to not listen and make a trade if he could acquire a bunch of top prospects for one of the players in this deal," said Sosnick.
The Blue Jays do look poised to make another move as they currently have four catchers — J.P. Arencibia, John Buck, Bobby Wilson, and top prospect Travis d’Arnaud on their 40-man roster.
