Jays’ Lind not optimistic for Wednesday’s game

Blue Jays designated hitter Adam Lind left Tuesday’s game against the Twins in the seventh inning with tightness in his lower back.

Lind said his back started to “grab” while he was running the bases. It’s been bothering him a bit.

As for Wednesday’s game, he’s not very optimistic.

Brett Lawrie hit a grand slam in the top of the ninth inning and drove in five runs as the Jays beat the Twins 9-3.
