Hutchison is not yet close to becoming a permanent fixture in the team's starting rotation, MLB.comt reports.
For now, Hutchison will retain his current role. He will likely receive another promotion when the Blue Jays want to give their starters an extra day of rest, and he remains the first line of defense if anyone goes down with an injury. Hutchison is still considered a top pitching prospect in the organization, but he struggled to consistently get major league hitters out over the past two and a half seasons. The club is perfectly content with allowing the righty more time to develop at Triple-A Buffalo.
