Gurriel will extend his 2017 season by playing in the upcoming Arizona Fall League, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
A hamstring injury caused the prospect to delay his 2017 debut by more than two months. Gurriel struggled in his first professional season at both High-A Dunedin and Double-A New Hampshire. The AFL will give the youngster a chance to log much-needed at-bats, and hone his defensive skills at multiple positions. Gurriel's fall efforts are worth monitoring for those in dynasty formats.
