Rangers’ deal with Rougned Odor includes two horses

One hard slide from Jose Bautista led to a vicious right hook by Rougned Odor that sparked a massive benches clearing brawl on Sunday.

Looks like Odor will be the, um, mane attraction in Texas for six more years thanks to a pretty unique perk in his new contract with the Rangers.

According to Rangers beat writer Evan Grant, the second baseman’s contract includes two horses.

As part of Odor’s deal, the 2B, who raises horses in spare time, will get two elite horses. Nice touch horse

Odor, who has been referred to as a somewhat of a “Venezuelan cowboy,” already owns four horses.

The 23-year-old stepped into the spotlight and earned the ire of Blue Jays fans last season when he threw a punch—neigh, a haymaker—at Toronto slugger Jose Bautista.

He’ll likely be saddled with even more responsibility this year after a career-best outing in 2016, which included 33 home runs.
