Mere minutes after announcing the acquisition of Brian McCann from the New York Yankees, the Houston Astros made another big off-season move.
The Astros have signed outfielder Josh Reddick to a four-year deal worth $52 million, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports.
Reddick split last season between the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Dodgers, hitting .281/.345/.405 in 115 games with 10 home runs and 37 RBI.
The 29-year-old spent the last four and a half seasons in Oakland before being dealt to the Dodgers ahead of the Aug. 1 trade deadline.
