The St. Louis Cardinals have signed right-handed reliever Luke Gregerson to a two-year, $11 million deal with a vesting option, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
Gregerson, 33, spent the previous three seasons as part of the Houston Astros bullpen. He had recorded a combined 46 saves in 2015 and 2016 before losing the closer role last season.
In 2017, Gregerson posted a 4.57 ERA and allowed nine home runs in 61 innings while striking out 70.
