Free agent outfielder Colby Rasmus has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Tampa Bay Rays.
Rasmus spent the past two seasons with the Houston Astros, managing a .223/.301/.419 slash line in 244 games.
He was a Blue Jay for parts of four seasons, coming over in a trade from St. Louis in 2011.
The left-handed hitting slugger has topped the 20-home run mark four times in his career, primarily playing in centre.
He figures to move to a corner outfield position should he sign with Tampa, given the presence of reigning Gold Glove winner Kevin Kiermaier.
