Stroman: Jays have talent enough to make playoffs

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman joins Sid Seixeiro to talk about being on the Blue Jays Winter Caravan, training for this season, the acquisition of catcher Russell Martin and more.

Marcus Stroman says the Toronto Blue Jays have enough talent to end baseball’s longest postseason drought and claim a playoff spot in 2015.

“Absolutely,” he told Tim & Sid on Sportsnet 590 The Fan. “We have more than enough talent to accomplish that.”

Stroman gave glowing reviews of newcomers Josh Donaldson and Russell Martin, saying their addition only enhanced the team’s post-season chances.

The rookie pitcher went 11-6 with a 3.65 ERA in 20 starts in his first major league season in 2014.
