Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis has been scratched from the lineup ahead of Game 2 against the Texas Rangers due to right knee soreness.

Darwin Barney will replace Travis at second base and bat ninth, while Ezequiel Carrera will move into the leadoff spot. Travis was scheduled to play second and hit first when the Blue Jays initially announced their lineup on Friday.

In other roster news, left-handed batter Michael Saunders draws back into the lineup as DH with right-hander Yu Darvish on the mound for Texas. Jose Bautista, who hit DH in Game 1, will move to right field while Ezequiel Carrera moves to left. Melvin Upton Jr. is on the bench.

J.A. Happ will start for the Blue Jays.

Manager John Gibbons spoke to the media before the game and said that he still wasn’t sure if closer Roberto Osuna would be available Friday.
