With the MLB non-waiver trade deadline fast approaching, Travis Snider is giving the Toronto Blue Jays — and other organizations — something to think about.
As Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi tweeted Wednesday night, the 24-year-old slugger enjoyed a big night at the plate for the Las Vegas 51s:
Travis Snider 4-for-5 with 2 HR, 2B, 6 RBIs in LV’s 11-5 win over Fresno. Eric Thames 2-for-5. — Shi Davidi (@ShiDavidi) July 19, 2012

In 55 games this season, Snider has posted a line of .332/.420/.582 with 12 home runs, 55 RBIs, 34 walks and 42 strikeouts. In his past 10 games, Snider is batting .412/.535/.706/1.241 with three home runs and 12 RBIs.
Also Wednesday, Davidi tweeted an update on a possible replacement at third base should Brett Lawrie be forced to miss extended time after injuring his calf in yesterday’s 6-0 loss to New York.
Also of note, Yan Gomes not in LV lineup last night, presumably in case Jays need him to cover a few days for Brett Lawrie. — Shi Davidi (@ShiDavidi) July 19, 2012
