The veteran utility man did his best Willie Mays Hayes impression as he slid gently into home plate dove like an insane person onto home plate in the seventh inning Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals to briefly put his team up 3-2 .
As you can see from the video above, it’s one of if not the most memorable plays of the young season and within mere minutes of his acrobatic feat Coghlan was the No. 1 trending topic in Canada.
Suffice it to say, Blue Jays fans and pundits *clears throat* flipped out on social media.
