Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza will join the Baseball Hall of Fame, with Griffey Jr. only three votes shy of a unanimous decision.
When Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza were named the 2016 inductees into the Baseball Hall of Fame, Twitter blew up in support of the two superstars but was left with some questions.
Some were disappointed to see their favourite candidates fall by the wayside while others just couldn’t stop wondering about the three BBWAA members who left Griffey Jr. off their ballots.

Bagwell at 71.6%, Raines at 69.8% and Hoffman at 67.3%. Based on historical precedent, they're looking good for next year.

When I used to interview players a lot (07-10), I would try to ask who their fav player was growing up. Answer was almost always Griffey.
