Yankees use LeBron James picture to throw shade at Indians

The Cleveland Indians‘ Twitter account is among the very best in baseball, with a penchant for trolling that can rarely be rivalled.

The New York Yankees tried to give the Indians a dose of that medicine on Thursday, using an old photo of Cleveland Cavaliers icon LeBron James.

The two clubs will open their best-of-five American League Division Series Thursday at Progressive Field in Cleveland. The picture of James, an Ohio native, is from 10 years ago, during Game 1 of the 2007 ALDS between the Yankees and Indians.

The three-time NBA champion has since switched his baseball allegiance to the Indians, publicly showing his support in recent years for the hometown club.
