Candy & hoops keep him happy
February 9, 2010 | Source: Toronto Sun
For a guy who has yet to play a meaningful minute of basketball for his team, Reggie Evans is one awfully popular Raptor.
Leaned up against a gym wall discussing his almost four months in basketball purgatory -- 'You can watch but you can't play' -- not one teammate goes by without offering some sort of salute to their frustrated big man.
Actually, frustrated no longer applies where Evans is concerned. He's past that point now and moved on to the eager-to-play-again phase, a phase that could begin Wednesday when the Philadelphia 76ers visit Toronto.
