INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Cleveland Cavaliers rookie forward Tristan Thompson of Brampton, Ont., did not practise Monday because of a sore ankle.
Thompson was injured in the fourth quarter of Saturday's blowout loss in Atlanta.
Coach Byron Scott said Thompson's ankle looked better but it will be a gametime decision whether he plays Tuesday in Miami.
Thompson, the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft, is averaging eight points, 5.1 rebounds and 18 minutes per game.
Also on Monday, Cleveland recalled swingman Christian Eyenga from Canton of the NBA Development League.
Eyenga was assigned to Canton on Jan. 4. He played nine games with the Charge, averaging 8.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 24.6 minutes per game. Eyenga played one minute for the Cavs before he was assigned to Canton.
