Kevin Garnett's renowned intensity was out in full effect Thursday night in Orlando.
The veteran forward played an instrumental role in shutting down Dwight Howard as the Boston Celtics overcame a 27-point deficit to beat the Orlando Magic without Ray Allen or Rajon Rondo.
More importantly, NBA fans might be more interested in his intensity off the court as Garnett's post-game interview with TNT's Craig Sager, where he compared Boston's victory to a bar fight on several occasions, was another memorable soundbite.
Garnett has been known for over-the-top post-game rants in the past. We all remember the "Anything is possible" speech after the Celtics won the NBA title in 2007-08.
Thursday night's outburst clearly lived up to the billing. Before Sager spoke, Garnett insisted that Charles Barkley would understand what he's talking about because he's been in bar fights in the past and even found a way to compliment another outrageous Sager suit.
Garnett's on-court gifts may have been declining over the past two seasons, but it's great to see that his interview skills could be at an all-time high.
The 35-year-old is averaging 13.4 points and 7.5 rebounds in 17 games this season.
