Canadian basketball prodigy Andrew Wiggins exchanged tweets with Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Monday after he won the 2013 Naismith Trophy as the best high school player in the United States.
Harper congratulated the 18-year-old Thornhill, Ont., native, who then responded to the Prime Minister’s tweet.

Wiggins has averaged 23.6 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game for Huntington Prep in West Virginia this season and is the consensus top-rated prospect in the upcoming college recruiting class.
