Best of Raptors’ #DrakeNight: Hotline Bling booth

Listen as Raptors point guard Cory Joseph discusses Drake Night and seeing the rapper reveal his gold uniform on stage.

The Toronto Raptors held their third annual “Drake Night” on Wednesday, earning an impressive victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With the win, Toronto improved its record to a perfect 3-0 on “Drake Nights” and 10-6 on the season.

As has become tradition, the team’s global ambassador took to the mic to announce the Raptors’ starting lineup, where he more or less predicted that power forward Luis Scola was in for a big performance. The veteran big man kept his team afloat early with 15 first-quarter points.

Wednesday also marked the debut of Toronto’s new alternate jerseys, which are black and gold in honour of, you guessed it, Drake. All fans in attendance had an OVO-themed t-shirt waiting on their seat.

What really stole the show was the ‘Hotline Bling’ booth set up for fans (and broadcasters) to bust out their moves and try to replicate the now-famous dance.
