In total, there are 108 international players from a record 42 countries on opening-night NBA rosters, the league announced in a press release.

There are a few differences compared to the beginning of the 2016-17 campaign when there were 11 Canadians to crack NBA rosters.
Anthony Bennett, the 2013 first-overall pick, is no longer on an NBA roster and Andrew Nicholson, the 19th-overall pick from 2012, is playing with the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association.
Khem Birch signed his first NBA contract with the Magic after spending the past two seasons in Europe. Oregon standout Dillon Brooks made the Grizzlies as a second-round pick, while Brooks’s college teammate Chris Boucher is a warm body on the Warriors bench.
