While being seven-feet tall can have its advantages, Boston Celtics rookie Fab Melo knows very well that it has its disadvantages as well.
Melo, who is currently plying his trade with the Celtics’ NBDL affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, suffered a concussion when he bumped his head going through a hotel-room doorway in Sioux Falls, S.D., over the weekend.
He was forced to miss the Red Claws game versus the Skyforce on Monday after being treated by medical staff.
“I still have a little headache,” Melo told csnne.com on Tuesday in Boston where he was back with the parent club. “Sometimes I can’t really focus on something for a long time, that’s it.”
There is no timetable for Melo’s return to action.
