HOUSTON — Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul will miss his second straight game with a strained left hamstring, sitting out Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against Houston.

Paul was injured Saturday night against San Antonio, but returned to hit the winning shot to eliminate the Spurs.

Coach Doc Rivers says the All-Star is getting better but still isn’t "moving well."

Rivers isn’t sure if he’ll be ready for Game 3 on Friday night in Los Angeles but expects Paul to play at some point in this series.

Paul, who turned 30 on Wednesday, is averaging 22.7 points and 7.9 assists in the post-season.

The Clippers started Austin Rivers in Paul’s place and won Game 1 behind a triple-double from Blake Griffin.
