Eric Thames on who he’ll root for in Game 6: Fear the deer!

Milwaukee Brewers' Eric Thames hit his league leading 11th home run of the season leading his team to a dominant 9-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

Milwaukee Brewers slugger Eric Thames will be attending his first NBA playoff game when the Toronto Raptors visit the Bucks in Game 6 on Thursday night.

Despite his previous ties to the Toronto Blue Jays, Thames’ loyalty lies with his new club.

His decision to root for the home team is no surprise, as Thames is enjoying a remarkable comeback season in Milwaukee after signing a three-year, $16-million contract. The 30-year-old leads the majors with 11 home runs and a 1.393 OPS through 21 games.

The Brewers are enjoying an off-day and several players could be in attendance when the Raptors try to close out the series at BMO Harris Bradley Center.
