Manu Ginobili says he is returning to the San Antonio Spurs for a 14th season.

Ginobili made the announcement on Twitter on Monday. The Argentinian will turn 38 later this month and is coming off of a season in which he battled several injuries.

Ginobili averaged 10.5 points in 70 games, his lowest scoring average since his rookie season. But the Spurs need his experience, versatility and playmaking to bolster the depth on a roster that is a little thin following some big expenditures in free agency.

The Spurs have agreed to terms with LaMarcus Aldridge on a four-year, $80 million contract, Kawhi Leonard on a five-year, $90 million deal and Danny Green on a four-year, $45 million deal in the last week.
