The Toronto Raptors are heading to Indianapolis with their best-of-seven first-round series with the Indiana Pacers tied 1-1, effectively bouncing back with a much-improved performance in Game 2 after a Game 1 dud.

There was a lot going on in Monday’s game that the Raptors can look to build upon such as Jonas Valanciunas picking up where he left off in Game 1 with another strong performance, the play of the team’s second unit and Kyle Lowry looking a little more like the same player who terrorized the Eastern Conference this season.

One aspect of Game 2 that should concern the Raptors, however, is DeMar DeRozan’s continued struggles.

Over two playoff games so far, DeRozan is an awful 10-for-37 from the field and has got to the free throw line just six times total.

Regardless of how good the Raptors looked in Game 2, the club likely needs their second all-star to get it going again as they head out for a pair on the road.

Tuesday on Sportsnet 590 the FAN’s The Andrew Walker Show, host Walker argues that DeRozan needs to be more involved and find his game again if the Raptors are going to beat the Pacers.
