Injured Toronto Raptors players Jared Sullinger and Delon Wright have been cleared to participate in team practice.

Sullinger has been sidelined since the Raptors’ first pre-season game in early October with an injury that saw him undergo a surgical procedure that inserted a screw into the fifth metatarsal of his left foot.

Wright had arthroscopic surgery in August to fix a labral tear in his right shoulder and has been out ever since.

An exact timeline for Sullinger and Wright’s return to the court isn’t yet known, but having their status upgraded is good news for a Raptors team that has struggled of late, losing five of its last eight contests.

Sullinger’s upgraded status is particularly encouraging as he’s still slated to be an option at starting power forward, even as trade rumours continue to fly linking the Raptors to just about any logical and supposedly available starting-level big.
