New York Knicks‘ Enes Kanter had the last laugh on the court against Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns — and it appears he’s trying to do the same off of it, too.
After scoring 20 points in the 107-85 victory, the Knicks centre took to Twitter in an attempt to rub some salt in Booker’s wound.
So what’s all the fuss about?
Late in the third quarter, the Knicks centre blocked Booker’s dunk attempt and then stared him down, prompting Booker to shove him.
Both players received technical fouls, leading to Booker’s ejection. He had been booked for a flagrant foul on Kristaps Porzingis earlier in the game. (Watch the highlights above.)
Kanter did get the first shot in on Twitter, but it remains to be seen if he’ll get the last.
Suns’ Jared Dudley came to Booker’s defence. He and Kanter traded barbs.
