On Jan. 22, 2006, Kobe Bryant scored 81 points in the Los Angeles Lakers 122-104 win over the Raptors in Toronto.
It was the second-highest total ever recorded in an NBA game and in honour of the anniversary, NBA TV south of the border broadcasted the event live on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET.
On Monday, Bryant announced his intention to watch the game and share his thoughts live via Twitter.
