Lakers guard Price faces surgery on right elbow

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Los Angeles Lakers guard Ronnie Price will have surgery to remove a bone spur from his right elbow.

The team said the surgery will be Wednesday in Los Angeles. A timetable for his return will be given afterward.

Price is averaging 5.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 43 games, including 20 starts. He signed as a free agent in September.
