SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Rudy Gay scored 27 points, Carl Landry made the game-winning basket with just under a second to play and the Sacramento Kings beat the struggling Indiana Pacers 102-101 in overtime Friday night to stop a four-game losing streak.

Landry rebounded a missed shot by Gay, made a quick fake and converted underneath with 0.8 seconds left.

The Kings led by as many as 17 points, but were outscored 24-16 in the fourth quarter and didn’t have a basket over the final 4:12. They outscored the Pacers 6-5 in overtime.

Darren Collison scored 20 points for the Kings and Landry finished with 14. Ben McLemore added 12 points and Jason Thompson had nine points and 10 rebounds.

David West scored 16 for Indiana, which has lost four straight and five of six. Rodney Stuckey and CJ Watson both had 14 points, while Luis Scola and Damjan Rudez each added 11.

DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings’ leading scorer and rebounder, missed his fourth straight game with a viral infection. Cousins, who attended the game in street clothes, is expected to miss Saturday’s home game against Orlando, but return Monday against visiting Utah.

With Cousins out of the lineup, the Kings were 0-16 over the past three seasons before snapping the streak against the Pacers. Their last victory with Cousins sidelined was April 13, 2013, against Chicago.

Watson erased a four-point Kings lead, hitting a 3-pointer and scoring on a drive to put the Pacers up 101-100.

West made a difficult 6-footer in traffic to tie the game at 96 with 26.1 seconds remaining. He missed a desperate shot at the fourth-quarter buzzer, sending the game into overtime.
