ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Magic acquired third-year guard C.J. Wilcox and cash from the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday for Devyn Marble and a 2020 second-round draft pick. The Clippers promptly waived Marble.

Wilcox, who appeared in 23 games last season for the Clippers, averaged 3.0 points while shooting 39 per cent from 3-point range.

The 6-foot-5 Wilcox was a first-round draft pick (28th overall) of the Clippers in 2014 out of Washington. He struggled to find playing time with the team but has played well in the D-League, averaging 17.6 points and shooting 42 per cent from beyond the arc.

Marble averaged 2.1 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists with Orlando last season. He was drafted two years ago.
