Have you ever wanted to design an NBA uniform?
Well now you have your opportunity as Mavericks owner Mark Cuban announced on his blog on Tuesday that the team will redesign their uniforms for the 2015-16 season and he is giving Dallas fans a chance to have their say.
“You know what an NBA uniform looks like,” Cuban wrote. “You know what the Mavs colors are for today and the past. We want some new ideas that stay true to our logo and at least close to our current color schemes. Show us what you got!”
Fans can participate by heading to his blog and submit “ideas/pictures/graphics/videos/photos” to the posting.
Cuban doesn’t want fans who submit an idea to take it poorly though, even if the Mavs choose to go in a different direction.
“If we don’t choose any of the designs, including yours. Then we don’t choose any of the designs,” Cuban wrote. “That is life in the big city. Move on.”
Readers have until the end of May to submit their selections.
