NBA fines Knicks’ Dalembert for elbow to face

NEW YORK — The NBA has fined New York Knicks centre Samuel Dalembert US$15,000 for elbowing Toronto Raptors centre Jonas Valanciunas in the face.

The incident occurred in the third quarter of the Raptors’ 118-108 home victory over the Knicks on Sunday.

Dalembert was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul on the play and was subsequently ejected from the game.
